How to choose
- If seeing a lion matters most: do Devalia as well as the Jungle Trail, and take at least two Jungle Trail drives.
- If you are comfortable booking online: get the permit yourself on the official portal and spend the saving on a better lodge.
- If time is short: a Gir–Somnath weekend covers the essentials.
- If you want the whole region: allow five to seven days for Dwarka, Somnath, Gir, Junagadh and Diu.
